UKIP Manchester

"In our age there is no such thing as 'keeping out of politics.' All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia." George Orwell

Welcome to UKIP Manchester.

The UKIP Manchester branch was created in 2013 and has been going strong ever since.  In the wards that UKIP Manchester members have stood in for the Manchester Council elections we have come, on average, second.  We intend moving that average up to first.  But we need you to attend branch meetings, donate your time and to donate your money.

This site is intended to assist you understand who the members are behind UKIP Manchester, provide some background to the branch and hopefully inform you so that you will attend branch meetings and donate your time or consider donating your money.

You can locate the UKIP Manchester executive team on the "Our People" page.  Candidates will go on there when there are elections on.  The next council election is in 2018.  This page sets out the UKIP Manchester Chairman, UKIP Manchester Secretary (Kalvin Chapman), UKIP Manchester Treasurer (Mark Davies) and the UKIP Manchester Members' Secretary (Kaide Seager).

UKIP Manchester is the main UKIP branch for people that live within Manchester - but you should be aware that some areas of Manchester do come within other branches.  Contact UKIP Manchester to find out which is your local branch. Even if you're not in Manchester branch's catchment, we would be happy for you to join us or we can refer you to the right people.

You can donate to the UKIP Manchester branch on our Donate Page.

UKIP Manchester has done well in the elections recently, and we intend to keep on getting better.  To do this we need your help.  We have an aim of getting our first Manchester Councillor before the 2020 General Election.

UKIP Manchester spent a lot of time campaigning for the EU Referendum and were delighted with the result.  The UK is now leaving the EU as a result.  We now must ensure that the Conservative Government does not create Brexit Lite.  Labour has collapsed into infighting over who can keep their snouts in the gravy train.  They are no longer an effective Opposition Party.  UKIP would like to get people elected in the next General Election to ensure that the Government do implement Brexit properly.  We do not want a renegotiation; we want out.

UKIP Manchester meets once a month, but the team is working constantly.  UKIP Manchester's Chairman is co-chair of the UKIP Greater Manchester group and UKIP Manchester's secretary is also the secretary of UKIP Greater Manchester.  We work with all of the branches in Greater Manchester and we intend making UKIP the second biggest party in the North West, with a view to even greater outcomes.

Contact UKIP Manchester if you have any questions about the UKIP Manchester Branch, how it works or how to help us fight the Manchester Mayoral race in 2017 or the Manchester City council elections in 2018.
